Byndoo, Goodbyn's parent company, was founded in January 2008.

What is your company’s philosophy?
Byndoo is an eco-conscious product development company turning old ideas into new and innovative consumer solutions. We strive to redefine product categories through smart design, exemplary production practices and deep consideration of the end user and the planet we all share.

Our products offer high-style form and kid-friendly function and rely on our three guiding principles—think like a kid; provide like a parent; behave like the earth.

What does Byndoo mean?
Byndoo is derived from a sanskrit word bindu, which has many different meanings. We especially like its intention of something small possessing an important element in a larger plot:

dictionary definition: a particle, a drop, a globule, a dot, a spot or a pearl; a drop of water taken as a measure; a spot or mark of colored paint on the body of an elephant; the dot over a letter representing the Anusvara; a zero or cypher (put over an erased word to show that it ought not to be erased); the sudden development of a secondary incident (like a drop of oil in water, furnishing an important element in the plot)

Where is Byndoo located?
Byndoo is located in Naperville, Illinois. All of our supply chain partners are located within the U.S.: Grand Rapids (Michigan); Grand Haven (Michigan); and Chicago (Illinois).
